Orders for file retrieval may be placed, by persons so authorised by the customer, by the following means:
Files may be ordered by reference to the barcode allocated by FILE or by the file identifier in use by the customer, which, as part of the lodgement procedures, has been cross-referenced.
On retrieval, each file barcode is scanned “out”, with a delivery slip being produced and validated.
A record of all file movements is maintained on our database, providing historical activity data which our customers access on-line to see in real-time where there information is located.
FILE provides a 24 hour delivery service every day of the year via 4 methods:
Standard deliveries twice daily
Urgent deliveries (within 2.0 hours)
After-hours (outside normal business hours)
On receipt of a retrieval order, the requested files are picked. Each picked file barcode is scanned, with the data being recorded on our database. A delivery slip bearing all retrieval details is produced for the customer.
